Bug hunt by James

Here are some photos from todays bug hunt.
We found slaters, a spider, worms and some beetles.
There are lots of worms in the horse manure pile, they are very helpful as we put lots of the rotted poo on the garden.

We also found some cool toadstools (fungi).

    James these are awesome photos if you like bugs. We have some toadstools in our garden too. They are growing where we had to chop down a tree.

    Ahiahi Mārie James,

    it looks like you had a lot of success on your bug hunt. I remember when I was young, I used to lift logs and see lots of slaters. I even did a science experiment at high school to do with slaters. How many slaters were underneath your log?
