Kia ora and welcome to our blog. We are a wonderful group of Year 3/4 students at a small Catholic School near the beach in Ōtautahi, Christchurch. We have two great teachers called Miss Hart and Miss Esselink. We hope you enjoy reading all about our learning.

Kia ora Room 9,
ReplyDeleteI loved reading your descriptions of Archie the cat. They made me laugh like a baby. You have come up with some really great similes too. I also enjoyed seeing all your drawings of Archie, they really helped me to imagine what Archie is like and what he gets up too.
Keep up the great learning and blogging,
:) Sharon - Te Ara Tūhura Education Programme Leader
Kia ora Sharon,
DeleteThank you for your positive feedback on our work.

Talofa lava Room 9,
ReplyDeleteWe really like your character descriptions. We liked the way you made your picture and wrote your descriptions as well. We wrote character descriptions of our favourite book and movie characters. Next time we would love to see bigger pictures to go with your writing.
Nā Room 8
Hi Room 9 my name is Farhan, your pictures are cool and your writing was so good, they made me laugh. Did you find using google draw hard to use? Happy holidays.
ReplyDeleteKia Ora Farhan,
DeleteThanks for commenting on our Archie post. For google drawings, some people found it hard and some people found it easy. We like using it because it means we can make our own shapes and draw our own drawings better than we could on paper.
We hope you have a good rest of your day,
Room 9
