Tornadoes

 For writing we have been learning how to write explanations. This week we had our own choice of topics to write about; the water cycle, how seeds grow,  the butterfly cycle and tornadoes. The majority of the class chose to write about Tornadoes. We decided to do the tornado in a bottle experiment to see how tornadoes are formed. Kelp study by Hugo

Hugo was listening to the reading story about the garden under the sea, and as he was always wondering what are those little poppy pockets on the seaweed, he decided to found out more about it, and watched national geographic kids. Then he drew what he remembered. Picture below.

Erupting volcano by Quinn, and art attack

Hi Miss Hart,

This is our science project we have been working on. The video of the lava is too big to send. We used sand to make the volcano and vinegar, food coloring and baking soda to make the lava.

This is my art. I got one tube and cut it and coloured it in and then put them on my wrists.
